Richard Rama Gutierrez (born January 21, 1984 in Beverly Hills, California) is a Filipino film and television actor. In 2006, he was chosen to play the role of Captain Barbell. This superhero-action fantasy series aired in the Philippines via GMA Network, his mother station. Captain Barbell became the no. 1 primetime TV show in the nation, giving him an icon status. His next TV series based on a Japanese anime/French legend, Lupin, premiered on April 9, 2007.

His series, Kamandag, based on a graphic novel by Carlo J. Caparas, gave him the protagonist, Vergel, a half-serpent half-human who becomes the anti-hero Kamandag. Kamandag started showing November, 2007.
