Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu, or better known as "Kim Chiu", was born in Tacloban City, Leyte, on April 19, 1990. The nineteen year old, mostly famous in the Philippines for being a well known and established model, actress, and singer, is becoming a majorly famous celebrity and star.

Kim has starred in the films "I've Fallen for You", "First Day High", "Shake Rattle and Roll X", and "Broken Hearts". She has also won many awards, including the ASAP Pop Viewer's Choice Awards in 2006 for the pop love team of the year award, the 2006 Box Office Entertainment Awards for the most popular love team award, the 23rd Star Awards for the female star for the night award, the 2007 PMPC Star Awards for best female-new TV personality award, and the 2008 Nickelodeon Philippines Kids' Choice Awards for the favorite actress award.
