Claudine Baretto (real name: Claudine Margaret Castelo Baretto ) was born on July 20, 1979 in Manila, Philippines. She was the youngest daughter of Miguel Alvier Baretto and Estella Santiago Castelo. Claudine was the most popular and the most successful in her family and showcased her acting talent in Home along Da Riles, in the weekend show Oki Doki Doc, May Minamahal, Pare Ko, Madrasta, Soltera, Anak, and Got to Believe. After these she become one of the ABS-CBN's most treasured stars. In 2008, she played in two television projects, Iisa Pa Lamang and Maligno.

Claudine was the cover girl of many famous magazines such as: Star Studio Magazine, Metro, Mod, Working Mom, Mega, Premiere, Preview, Cosmopolitan , S and Young Star.

She has been nominated for and won numerous awards such as six Best Actress Awards for the movies Anak, Soltera, Dubai, Milan, Kailangan Kita and Nasaan Kan Man. On 14th May, 2005, Claudine Baretoo won her first award for best actress from the 1st Luna Awards for the movie Milan. She also won an award for this movie from the 53rd FAMAS Awards on 24th June, 2005. Claudine Baretto was Box Office Queen 2003, Queen of the RP Movies in 2004 and Box Office Queen in 2006.

She remains a simple superstar who opens her heart to her supporters, making her one of the most loved celebrities. She married Reymart Santiago on March 27 2006.
