Australian born (1985) actress, Anne Ojales Curtis Smith also known as Anne Curtis has an extensive background in entertainment. From her days in commercials and fledgling movies, playing the roles of typical teen idols to her current starring role in a Prime Time TV series she has become a role model in many aspects. Her breakout role in 2004 as Stephanie on the TV series Hiram was the first of a string of roles where she would be the beauty, love interest and rival of other female Philippine actresses. Her acting skills and top notch performances landed the first title role of her career as Imang/Fatima in the fantasy TV series Kampanerang Kuba. As she was moving out of teen roles and become a woman herself, there would be controversy around her decisions that were merely a young girl growing up. She has moved on and has a list of roles to pave the way and show her the credit she deserves as an established actress. Most recently in 2007, she was there for the re-launch of MTV Philippines as an MTV VJ. Currently she is starring in the 2008 released Dyosa, which is a new fantserye for ABS-CBN as the title role Dyosa.
